Before we delve into the happiness that Hollywood experiences, let us first discuss what real happiness is. Am I happy if I feel ecstatic for an hour, and feel lonely for the rest of the day? How about if I am glad for 8 hours straight, and I feel saddened for the next 16 hours? Does these make me a happy person? Most of us know that happiness is not a permanent state. It is rare that we are happy all throughout the day. Well, at least, most of us are not.

What is happiness? Happiness means a sense of deep contentment. A cheerful outlook. An attitude of positive thoughts. A person who has these qualities is happy during all the times of the day.

The world of Hollywood is studded with name, fame, and wealth. Celebrities have the purchasing power to grab whatever they want, anything they lay their eyes on. Their names are utilized to spice up a billboard or heighten the heat of news stands. The public makes use of the celebrities’ stories for their entertainment. You see, to say that they are born with a silver spoon is somewhat an understatement, as most of these celebs are pacified with gold. Therefore, they must be happy.

But sadly, happiness is away from most of them. Speaking of contentment, most of them are not only not feeling any contentment, but are frustrated. They are jealous at times. And they have no deep sense of peace in them. Rather their life and minds are full of turbulence most of the times. They are at times so dissatisfied with their own life that they wish to run away from themselves. This they cannot do, and therefore substances that take them away from their own realities are so often used by them.

Happiness has something to do with money, but only to an extent. Happiness has nothing to do with fame, If you are not satisfied with yourself. Whatever the world may say, unless one has self-esteem, one can never be happy. All of us sail in the same boat. Most of us are living unhappy lives most of the time. Let us get happiness that will give us a satisfied sense of living. Let us strive for happiness in our own inner world.

Is romance in your relationship always so serious? How is that working out for you and your husband? Maybe it's time to try humor.

Is romance in your relationship always so serious? How is that working out for you and your husband? Maybe it’s time to try humor.

Which do you think your husband would choose if put to the test: a) Watch the beautifully romantic tear-jerker movie, The Notebook or b) do anything that doesn’t involve watching The Notebook.

My answer is easy. My husband would opt for a root canal rather than sitting through a movie like The Notebook or Terms of Endearment. Now don’t get me wrong. That doesn’t mean he isn’t romantic. He loves me and our family very deeply. He’s simply not a fan of traditional, serious romance movies.

Our date nights usually involve Ben Stiller, Bill Murray, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson, Matt Dillon, or Jim Carrey. Those men don’t know this, but they’re a huge part of what makes our marriage such a joy. The fact that our date nights consist of a fun movie instead of a forced moment means that my husband is happy and relaxed; two very good things for romance.

Are you looking for a lighthearted fun romantic movie that both you and your husband will enjoy? Here are some of our favorites.

The Princess Bride (1987): Many men may feel the same as the little boy in the beginning of the movie; being read a book by Grandpa that starts out with the kissing part. Yuk! Well, the boy finds out very quickly, and so will your husband, that this love story is a rough and tumble story of a Pirate, evil Prince, and the Princess who is betrothed to the Prince but loves the Pirate. There’s a lot of swashbuckling and ridiculously funny slapstick and innuendo. I dare you to watch this movie and NOT fall in love with it!

Groundhog Day (1993): A classic. You will not be satisfied watching this movie just once. Bill Murray plays the worn-out, miserable weatherman who gets stuck living Groundhog Day over and over again until he learns something about living life. In the process, he falls in love with a co-worker who despises him. Now he has to get it right, whatever it is, to win her love. Waking up every day re-living the same day repeatedly results in some very difficult, often dangerous, but mostly funny and touching moments.

Wedding Crashers (2005): When two divorce mediators decide to crash weddings to meet women, they don’t know exactly how far they can go with it. They learn from an expert (Will Ferrell) and off they go. Crashing weddings takes some suave technique and lots of guts. They don’t just skulk around, eating up the food. They join right in, dancing, cutting the cake, getting in all the pictures, and introducing themselves in such a way that everyone thinks they were invited. The love story happens as all love stories do… when you least expect it. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are the perfect pair to pull this off.

The Wedding Singer (1998): This is a great romp through the 80’s. The settings, the songs, the clothes, and the bad wedding music, are all very nostalgic and fun. Robbie, the wedding singer, goes through some rough spots when his fiance drops him. Julia, the waitress, is going to marry a man who doesn’t deserve her. Robbie and Julia team up as good friends and, well, the right thing happens for everyone. You’ll enjoy Adam Sandler’s depiction of Robbie; right down to the hair style! And, ladies, you’ll get a tear or two when Robbie sings ‘Grow Old With You’. Relax, laugh, and cuddle. This is a winner.

Fun With Dick and Jane (2005): Dick and Jane’s ‘good life’ comes to an abrupt halt when their plans for a comfortable future crumble with the collapse of the company stock, pension fund, and Dick’s job. Dick, as a middle manager, gets hung out to dry and blamed for the stock collapse. Humiliated, Dick and Jane snap and start doing whatever they can to hang on, which includes going on a wildly funny blue-collar crime spree. But, things change and they end up getting retribution for their co-workers and revenge on the person who really caused the collapse. Jim Carrey is hilariously funny, but with a very gentle heart. You’ll be cheering the victors at the end.

Love Actually (2003): This is really eight movies in one. Short stories that tell about love, romantic love, family love between a father and son, siblings, and friends. This is a truly touching movie, but has enough laughs and light moments to keep your husband awake and interested… and laughing. Good laughs and many gentle moments to remember. Cuddle up, grab the tissues, and be ready to learn a thing or two about the meaning of love.

It’s hard to always take romance seriously. And if your husband is like mine, romance needs to be fun! Pop in a romantic, funny movie, cuddle up, and get ready to relax and enjoy each other… and the movie!

RomanceYourHusband.com is a great, fun place for married folks to figure out new ways to stay close, stay friends, and to remember the days when they first fell in love. If you’re looking for ways to express your love or looking for ideas for your wedding vow renewal, you’ll find everything you need right here to capture the joy.

A broken relationship is simply an end to a relationship based on love, trust, affection, friendship etc. It can happen to anyone, at any age with/without warning. It is not only tagged to spouses, marriages or engagements but also affects friends, families, work colleagues….. This post will briefly address how it occurs and suggest 50 Ways To Get Over A Broken Relationship.

The following are causes of broken relationships: Distance: This occurs when friends lose contact with each other and go in separate directions e.g. relocating to another country, town or city, going to different schools/colleges, jobs etc. A change in circumstances and seasons Lack of trust and disrespect. Lying and cheating. Break in communication. Personal Issues. Pride.

It’s important to note that are many other causes of broken relationships, but the post will be limited to this list. In no particular order, here are 50 Ways To Get Over A Broken Relationship.

1. Time: It’s important you give yourself enough time to heal, get over the hurt, gain confidence and take off from where your life paused temporarily. 2. Find out who you really are, what your temperaments, likes or dislikes are. Be yourself; be authentic, be bold, be loving, be beautiful. 3. Don’t be hard on yourself: There is always a tendency for you to heap the causes of the strain in the relationship on yourself. Cut yourself some slack and be encouraged by things that give you meaning. 4. Accept past events, the changes/challenges associated with it. As painful as it is, the underlying factor is to build a level of tolerance … resistance to these situations.

5. Examine yourself: Could you be the one who has the problem? Is your character, behavior, or attitude questionable? Are you argumentative, bossy, overbearing? It may be worthwhile examining yourself inwardly. 6. Empower yourself by listening to, reading and watching positive media that will contribute to uplifting your spirits and strengthening you. 7. Avoid being alone: Spend a lot of time with other friends, family, colleagues….. They could serve as listening ears and provide all sorts of encouragement. 8. Get some rest. It would recharge your energy levels and ensure you put things in perspective. 9. Let go of your emotions constructively. Cry if it will make you feel better, take long walks. Don’t be embarrassed at it. Whatever you do, make sure it’s constructive and makes you feel better. 10. Endeavour to resolve every confrontation or argument that may stem from past relationships.

11. Rebuild your self esteem and self confidence. 12. Improve your physical appearance, dress sense and total physical outlook. Dress smartly, casually, elegantly….(I don’t subscribe to a provocative dress sense). It helps to boost your level of confidence. 13. Create a positive attitude around you and think positively about who you are. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. 14. Be careful of being taken for granted by anyone. It’s important you guard your self/heart to avoid being hurt again. There could be people (acquaintances, friends, ex’s (YES!!!), colleagues…) wanting to take advantage of your current situation for their own selfish gains or pleasure. 15. Apologize: even if you don’t feel you’re directly at fault. It is a wonderful healing process giving you peace of mind, bringing comfort and relief to both parties concerned. 16. Forgive: Forgive yourself. Don’t feel stupid or worthless at the current situation. Learn to forgive the other parties involved. Set them free!!! 17. Be Optimistic: Show a bit of optimism in your daily living, trying as much as possible to put the past behind you. 18. Don’t cultivate the habit of eating too much in order to drive away painful memories or give you comfort.

19. Don’t turn to alcohol or drugs as a quick route to escape from the hurt or drown your sorrows. The pain will still be there in the morning along with a hangover! 20. Know what you want from a new relationship or friendship. 21. Stop living in self denial. There would be fond memories of the past but you’ve got to MOVE ON!!!!! 22. Stop over analyzing several issues, actions, movements, behaviors that occurred in the past. 23. Watch what you say: Be careful not to say or get into too many conversations that will bring up the past events relating to betrayal and dishonesty. 24. Condition your thoughts: Most times, you can’t face challenges because you are drowned in negative thoughts. If you approach the past with pessimism, there is a possibility of making wrong decisions arriving at erroneous judgements. 25. Be secured: Be secured in who, what and whom you are. Learn to deal with all your insecurities. 26. Deal with all forms guilt. 27. Always think of what is best for you as you move on to conquering the hurts of the relationship.

28. Be careful not to rush into developing new relationships either by forming new friendships or dating quickly. 29. Don’t play the blame game; finding faults or apportioning blames to various people, friends, families, ex’s……. 30. Keep your distance. It gives you enough time to pull your thoughts together. 31. Think Of The Future: Let your thoughts of the future be memorable, motivating and encouraging. Work towards the picture you’ve set for yourself. 32. Face your fears knowing, it only becomes a problem, when you can’t stand up to the pressures that come your way. 33. Learn to communicate your intentions, messages, mission, purpose etc.properly. 34. Start dating and making new friends again. This contradicts what was mentioned above. The tip in context; you shouldn’t deprive yourself of the benefits of seeing someone else at the appropriate time. 35. Learn to love again remembering not everyone will act like your ex, friend, colleague etc. 36. Don’t act desperate giving in to anyone who just comes your way or appears to be nice. 37. Take one day a step at a time making sure each day is a filled with various accomplishments.

38. Stop worrying and making all kinds of unnecessary assumptions. It reduces your level of anxiety. 39. Get a new focus. 40. Spoil yourself: Get a massage. Pamper yourself in the bath with oils, soothing music and skin moisturizers. 41. Celebrate Your Progress: Be happy when you make progress/changes in any sphere of your life using it as a stimulus to building new relationships. 42. Be Patient: Being patient allows you handle various situations with confidence and assurance knowing a solution definitely exists in any circumstance. 43. Spend money wisely: There is a tendency to spend carelessly to get rid of the pain experienced such as going for expensive holidays, purchasing unnecessary or unwanted items etc. The relief is temporary but you would be left repaying the debts when you come back to your senses. 44. Learn from the experience: The sole purpose of every experience is to make you a better person who can confidently face whatever life has to offer. 45. Improve yourself at the slightest opportunity you have. Your capacity to build new relationships will depend on your personal drive to take each opportunity as stepping stones.

46. Discuss your fears: Through building positive relationships, learn to share your fears with friends and family. It could boost your self esteem through learning from the experiences of others. 47. Seek Profession Help: Where/When necessary, the services of a counsellor, psychotherapist, may be employed. 48. Start out a new hobby. Try out things you’ve never done before. It will help fill those lonely times. 49. Exercise: It is important you stay in good shape by exercising as often as you can. Apart from the healthy benefits, a lot of people feel unattractive, insecure and less confident when they are out of shape. 50. Set Goals: Be determined to come out of the broken relationship strong with new ideals, strength and character.

I look forward to your suggestions and comments.

I’m about to go out on a limb.

II’d like to tell you about a period of my life that most people would prefer to keep sealed up tighter than nuclear waste.

And I won’t even talk about the stuttering problem that made me hang up the phone rather than try to force out a single syllable.

One night, little Madeline uttered four little words that would alter our lives forever…

You see, Madeline knew that Monday through Friday, I was a walking zombie because of work. And on Sundays, I walked around with a pit in my stomach, knowing that I had to go into work the next day.

Saturday was the only day that we got to spend any time together as a family.

Madeline’s innocent question sent a wave of emotions over me…

“”What kind of a father is that?” I thought to myself.

Teens and grownups tend to handle things differently in certain situations, and managing breakups is certainly no exception. Some of the greatest advice that can be volunteered to teenagers coping with breakups can be found on the web, because there are teens all over the world that are discovering the lessons of love the hard way, by losing the people they cared about to breakups.

If you are a teenager and you have been recently separated from your boyfriend or your girlfriend, then you are probably feeling heartbroken right now, which is simply expected no matter how old you are. Luckily, you have plenty of living inn front of you, and you will meet a surprising number of wooers in your life that are better suited for you. Everyone goes through love and loss, and while it is unpleasant to begin so young, you can and will move forward from this time of heartbreak.

Here is some primary advice for teens dealing with breakups and the associated heartbreak.

- Do not try to get back together with your ex right away. The best way to your ex that you are worth getting back together with is to play it cool and let him or her think that you’re getting along just fine without them. Play it cool by playing like you’re having fun and hanging out with people, and that you do not need your ex to enjoy yourself.

- The initial period of time that passes after a breakup can be tough, and you might feel lured to get back with your ex, but you need to let your emotions simmer first so as to come off as calm and cool rather than needy and despairing. If you act urgently, this will actually greatly lessen your ability to get things going with your ex again in the future.

- The best plan to pursue is to stop continually calling, texting and trying to see your ex. Move on, or at least give the appearance that you are moving on. Play hard to get. Play it cool. Let your ex acquire the needy and desperate feelings rather than demonstrating them yourself.

- Get out of the house and visit other people. Spend time with friends, meet new people, and have fun. Let your ex see that you are enjoying fun and getting along fine. Don’t be scared to flirt a little.

This will work wonders for your self esteem and your damaged feelings, and will create a little bit of jealousy in your ex. Let your ex simmer for a while, and you will begin looking much more attractive to him or her in no time at all.

Nonetheless, a word of caution with this specific word of advice, for teens coping with breakups; don’t exaggerate the “jealousy factor” as it can easily backfire on you.

- Take things slow. Even if your intention is to get things going with your ex, the breakup is going to have created residual feelings of heartbreak, so you need to repair your heart before you strike up any relationship, ex or not.

To total up this advice for teenage love problems, use your common sense and keep your emotions in check. By doing so you will see that time will be your best friend as your heart mends itself.

Stress is a normal facet in our lives. We thrive on a little stress because it keeps us focused and enables us to stay mentally alert. Sometimes, though, stress can get out of control and cause us to have anxiety attacks.

Anxiety attacks can creep up slowly, almost mimicking day to day stress and reactions to that stress. If one doesn’t cure these anxiety attacks, they can escalate and become debilitating.

In order to recognize the indicators for an anxiety attack, you have to understand the symptoms of stress first. Each person experiences stress differently, but some of the general symptoms of stress include problems with memory, confusion, difficulty in concentrating and racing thoughts.

You’ll see some of the same symptoms in anxiety attacks as well, But the physical effects are dominant during an attack. A number of individuals experience difficulty breathing, a racing heart, trembling or shakiness within the body, aching stomach and hot or cold flushes.

When the attack has reached its high point, you’ll notice a feeling of being out of control or losing a grip on yourself. Unfortunately, those experiencing anxiety attacks don’t always recognize their symptoms as an attack.

It often takes a good friend or relative to realize and tell them what is going on. To cure anxiety attacks you need to seek out medical attention from a specialist who can decide if they are anxiety attacks and not a different medical-related illness.

When the physician rules out anything medical and determines that they are anxiety attacks, he may start them on some type of medication to help relieve them of some of the symptoms and encourage the patient to seek a counselor.

A counselor will listen to the patients history and determine what stressing factors could be causing their symptoms. Once the patient gets a handle on the contributing factors for their attacks, a treatment plan would then be set up, based on the patients situation. A counselor can help them work through the stressors and show them ways to alleviate the stress causing their symptoms.

When everyday stress escalates, there are many ways to settle the overwhelming feelings of edginess. Getting the proper help will help calm the anxious emotions raging within you. Finding out what stressors cause those emotions and learning how to combat them can bring a sense of relief and feelings of comfort to know that there is hope.

Jim Rohn (born September 17, 1930) is an American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker.

His work has been influential in launching or furthering the careers of many others in the personal development industry, including Anthony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen, Brian Tracy and Jack Canfield.

Early life

Born to an Idaho farming family, Rohn began his early adulthood without acclaim, leaving college after his first year, starting a family, and trying to get by as best he could as a salaried worker.

Career

By age 25 (according to his accounts), he was in a personal rut familiar to many middle-class families whom were in debt, unable to see a way that would lead to his personal ambitions.

Around this time, he was introduced to John Earl Shoaff, an entrepreneur who impressed Rohn with his wealth, business accomplishments, charisma and life philosophy. Rohn joined Shoaff’s direct sales organization, and began a process of personal development that culminated in his becoming a millionaire by age 31. Unfortunately, Shoaff, who had challenged Rohn to reach for this goal, died one year before Rohn achieved it.

In the years that followed, Rohn discovered a demand from people outside his industry to hear his rags to riches stories, and the personal development philosophy that he felt had led to his accomplishments. Rohn has been presenting his seminars for more than 40 years.

He has addressed over 6,000 audiences and 4 million people worldwide. He was the recipient of the 1985 National Speakers Association CPAE Award. He is also the author of 17 different books, audio and video programs.

Quotes

Jim Rohn is considered a “Business Philosopher”. He does not claim to teach novel truths, only fundamentals – and as he is fond of saying: “There are no new fundamentals. Truth is not new, it’s old. You’ve got to be a little suspicious of the guy who says, ‘come over here, I want to show you my manufactured antiques!’ No, you can’t manufacture antiques.”

Jim Rohn’s “Five Major Pieces To the Life Puzzle”

    * Philosophy – how you think
* Attitude – how you feel
* Action - what you do
* Results – measure often to see if you are making progress
* Lifestyle - the kind of life you can make for yourself out of the first four pieces

Having difficulty dealing with a break up is acceptable. You don’t have to be embarrassed about it since everyone does. What is crucial is to know how to handle a break up.

Here are two things that you can do. First is to acknowledge the fact that you are hurting. Second is to move on and stay strong. Remember that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger but that’s entirely up to you. Your attitude about it matters.

The break up can be disheartening but dont let it get you down. Take control of the situation and don’t be feel limited by it. Getting through a divorce or a bad relationship can be really hard.

If you suffer from low self-esteem because your partner was unfaithful to you, make sure you get professional help to get you through these tough times. That also goes for any type abuse inflicted. Seek counselling if these apply to you. Don’t leave this unresolved otherwise you would be dealing with more problems in the future.

You have to stay tough after all you have been through. Help yourself and set some excellent goals. Remain focused and you will come out victorious. Never let it destroy you and dont look back. You have to realize that you have a life to live and move on.

Aim for victory over the situation and not just coming out of it unscathed. The best days are yet to come. Think of the blessings you will receive every day and be thrilled for whats in store for you in the future. After all, life is good.

One chapter of your life has just ended because of the break up. Don’t keep on denying it. After all you still have a lot in store for you. One you subscribe to this philosophy, you wont be affected by problems.

Breaking up is hard to do but it is only as devastating as you let it be. A nasty breakup doesn’t have to be the end of you. It can and will be a new beginning. The breakup of a relationship doesn’t have to bring the breaking up of your life. If you build a new foundation from the ruins of this tough breakup, chances are that you will have no problem dealing with break up in the future.

by Heather-Jane Hunter

Many people, over 4% of all Americans are in search of treatment that will provide hemorrhoid relief. Some of the more common types include pain relievers which are creams and gels, or antibiotics and medicated drugs, and many types of natural cures that offer hemorrhoid relief.

Many of the drug stores in your neighborhoods or communities offer large amounts of gels and creams that provide you with hemorrhoid relief. With these products you will not have to get a prescription in order to buy them and they are low cost ways to get hemorrhoid relief. These products work at relieving your symptoms of swelling and pain you may experience. You will simply need to use these products several times a day to ensure that you get relief from you pain.

The most common complaint about gels and creams and hemorrhoid relief is that they can be very irritating. If you have to put this cream, 4 times a day, which can be very irritating not to mention inconvenient, if you have a job to go to every day. In addition, they may also cause you to have some skin irritation and a burning feeling which can be extremely painful.

Some pain killers are used to help people with hemorrhoid pain like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen, which help by numbing, but will not cure the problem. In this case, they provide hemorrhoid relief but are only temporary and should not be used for an extended amount of time.

The most popular of the products used for hemorrhoid relief are the natural hemorrhoid remedies, these medication that are a mixture of ancient Chinese remedies and modern western medicines are known for their ability to not only provide relief to pain but also to completely eliminate the problem of hemorrhoids.

There are quite a few regular everyday foods that can offer some hemorrhoid relief; these include cereals, fruit and vegetables. Eating foods with a lot of fiber help to soften your stool and makes it easier to pass your anal canal without causing you too much pain.

Some people use vinegar as an easy way to stop the burning and itching of hemorrhoids as well. Not only does it provide some hemorrhoid relief from itching, it also stops the swelling as well.

Aloe Vera is yet another hemorrhoid relief that helps stop swelling. You can use the actual Aloe leaf, you will need to cut it and rub the gel on your hemorrhoid. This is only a temporary relief however.

In conclusion, while every one of these tips are meant to offer you a temporary cure for the problems associated with hemorrhoids, none of them will completely cure your condition. They are supposed to simply offer you hemorrhoid relief.

One hemorrhoid cure that also provides fast acting hemorrhoid pain relief is H Miracle. H Miracle is very effective in quickly reducing pain and also in providing a permanent cure to hemorrhoids. Being a totally natural solution, H Miracle has no harmful side effects. For more information about H Miracle, please visit the links listed below.
